Former Senator Ishaku Abbo has made fresh allegations regarding the APC political process in Adamawa State ahead of the 2026 elections.
Abbo alleged that one of the governorship aspirants was persuaded to step down from the race and instead contest for a Senate position. He also claimed that Adamawa State House of Assembly Speaker, Bathiya Wesley, faced pressure during the party’s internal political arrangements.
According to the former senator, the development has raised concerns among some party supporters over the fairness and transparency of the ongoing APC political process in the state.
The allegations have continued to spark reactions among party members and political observers, although the APC has not officially responded to the claims at the time of this report.
