Following the recent alleged persistent refusal by Senator Aisha Dahiru Ahmed Binani to give chance to the only three Adamawa state House of Assembly female Aspirants to throw in their luck despite their popularity and wide acceptability, a lot of top NDC party officials both at the National secretariat and state level continue to malign, gossip and denounce Aishatu Binani as nothing but a female misogynist. Despite some unconfirmed but very strong rumors on the above claim, I will rather choose to view Binani as a passionate and determined lady who faces multiple political persecutions and injustice mainly and evidently because of of her gender and who found a stable platform (NDC) to pursue her political carrier without rancor. However, if Binani fails to support, promote, protect and encourage the humble political dream of her fellow women with her resources and her influence in the party both within the state and at the National level, at least she should not use her influence to fight them by forcefully using her money and influence to allegedly remove these innocent ambitious ladies from the original lists which the whole world already saw and stood as witness to. The entire women of Adamawa state and beyond are watching closely with keen interest and the final outcome will determine, to a large extent, how our great and amiable Hajjajo will be perceived with regards to her passion for promoting fairness, justice and gender participation. The fight against these two or 3 insignificant ladies will cost Senator Binani much less given her great influence in the party but the political and moral consequences that will follow will be far greater for our Hajjajo. Therefore, in order to prove to the whole world that the rumored characterization of Senator Binani as a female misogynist is false, Senator Binani, as the sole NDC leader in Adamawa state must not allow her data boys to deceive her to the extent that she denies these female aspirants to fill in their quarter required and encourage by the party.
From a keen observer and an honest admirer of Binani with eyes across the entire Fombina province and ears within the cross sections of rural and urban Fombina communities.
Kindly accept this advise as my humble contribution towards the success of your movement in order to unite rather than divide and to avoid being judged in a negative light which has always been the hope, the prayers and the wish of the haters of our great Hajjajo. I wish you Allah’s guidance, assistance and protection against all evil both seen and unseen.
