Former Senator Ishaku Abbo Dumps ADC For Labour Party Ahead Of 2027

Former Adamawa North Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo has officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and joined the Labour Party.

Abbo said his decision was influenced by ongoing leadership challenges within the ADC at both the national and state levels, which he claimed created uncertainty within the party.

According to him, the move is part of preparations for the 2027 elections alongside his supporters under the SIA Movement.

The former senator stated that he holds no personal grudges against the ADC but remains focused on pursuing his political ambitions and representing the interests of his constituents.
