Ahmad Uthman Muhammad has called for the inclusion of Quranic schools in Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) programs, which aim to ensure quality education for all.
In a statement addressing Citizen Bida, he emphasized the need to create ways of fitting Quranic schools into education development initiatives.
Muhammad revealed that during a recent visit to an Islamiyyah school in Yola, he was impressed by the students’ enthusiasm for learning. He also listened to the challenges faced by the school and assured them that his NGO would work to integrate Quranic schools into its SDG4 projects.
He stressed that Quranic knowledge is an essential part of education and pledged to support efforts that will strengthen such schools alongside conventional education systems.
